This topic has really captivated the mainstream media. But I am afraid they are merely showing their ratings-grabbing tendencies and their studied ignorance of anything meaningful.
Why do we always have time after the fact to psychoanalyze the perp, who is usually long dead since they are almost universally cowardly in nature and accumulated guns (usually illegally) to assert their latent manliness or something. Yes, the overwhelming majority of these types of perps are young, not-too-bright men in their 20s.
This article on BBC was interesting and factual -- and it would seem to indicate that maybe things are not as extreme as the anti-gun hand wringers would have us believe...but then take another look at our company here. Does it really take a bunch of third-world countries with gun-crazy mobs and dictators to make the US look acceptable in its gun carnage levels? I don't see any country from Europe, nor Canada, the UK, or even Mexico on the list....????
